Todd serves as Managing Partner of Brooks Chadwick Capital. He provides strategic direction for the firm. His primary focus is acquiring prime real estate opportunities; building relationships with new and existing investors, and providing oversight of the numerous development projects. Prior to the creation of Brooks Chadwick Capital, Todd served as partner and vice president for land acquisitions for a residential development firm in the metro Atlanta area. While serving in this capacity, he acquired and developed hundreds of single-family lots and contracted with numerous national and regional homebuilders to purchase the finished lots. In addition, he was responsible for raising millions of dollars in equity for new projects. Todd lives in Atlanta with his wife and two children.
Roy M. Jones
Roy is a partner in Brooks Chadwick Capital and serves as General Counsel for the firm. His primary focus includes investor relations and operational oversight for Brooks Chadwick Capital’s numerous investments. Additionally, Roy serves as Managing Director of The Walton Opportunity Fund and Director of Tax Credits for Walton Communities.
Roy has been a real estate investor for over 30 years and served as lead counsel for Stan Thomas / Thomas Enterprises from 1989-1998, when he left the practice of law. During that period, Roy was the primary counsel overseeing the acquisition, structure, financing, and disposition of in excess of 1BB of real estate for Thomas Enterprises and its affiliates.
Prior to joining Walton communities, he was a Managing Director of Freestone Partners, LLC, a private equity fund with offices in Houston, TX and Atlanta, GA. Prior to joining Freestone, he was Chief Investment Officer, Chief Operating Officer and General Counsel of the McCamish Group, L.P., in Atlanta, GA. Roy practiced law for 14 years with Cushing, Morris, Armbruster and Jones, LLP, where he served as one of the managing partners.
Roy earned his undergraduate degree from Washington & Lee University, magna cum laude, and was awarded membership in Phi Beta Kappa. After several years in business where he led a successful start-up, Roy earned his law degree from Emory University School of Law, with distinction, was a member of the Emory Law Review, and was awarded Order of the Coif honors. Roy is a native of Atlanta where he resides with his wife Carter. They have two grown sons.
Dave serves as Chief Operating Officer for Brooks Chadwick Capital, overseeing various investments and development projects. Prior to joining Brooks Chadwick Capital, Dave served as the CFO for a residential property development firm, a software technology start-up, software consulting firm and an IT services firm. Dave began his career at IBM where he held various financial and sales positions. Dave graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree and received a Master’s of Business Administration degree from George Washington University. Dave lives in Atlanta with his wife and three children.
Steve serves as a partner in Brooks Chadwick Capital. Steve’s background in the housing industry began as the son of a real estate broker and land developer, which led him to start his own residential construction company in 1982. His strong desire and devotion to excellence in his homes can be found in exclusive neighborhoods all around the East Cobb area, including Madison Hall, Sibley on Paper Mill, Greyfield on Oak Lane, and new construction in Atlanta Country Club and Indian Hills Country Club. Steve is currently building in Atlanta Country Club Estates, as well as the new Communities of Marston Park, and The Vineyard. Now in his 28th year, Steve’s commitment to quality has made his company a recognized name in the residential construction industry. Steve lives in Atlanta with his wife and three children.
